Main Street in South Salt Lake to Get Long-Awaited Bike Lanes

South Salt Lake City is planning to finally stripe bike lanes on Main Street between 2100 South and 3300 South this summer! We’re beyond excited that this is happening, filling a large gap in the Main Line, which envisions a high-comfort bikeway for the entirety of Main Street from SLC to Murray. There are also a couple of smaller gaps in Millcreek and Murray where there are shared lanes (‘sharrows’) and a 35 MPH speed limit, yikes! There’s still a ways to go but this is a big step in the right direction!
