Salt Lake City Budget Season - Speak Up for Transportation Funding!

It’s almost that time of year again, budget season! The mayor will come out with her recommended budget shortly, then it’s off to the City Council for deliberation. We’ll see how much funding was recommended for various transportation projects and programs such as Livable Streets, Complete Streets, Neighborhood Byways and a plethora of CIPs (what’s a CIP, you ask? See the next section!)

We’ll keep this light for now, and we’ll be back with a special mid-month newsletter to recap the mayor’s budget. In the meantime, you can use this form to submit feedback to the City Council on what YOU think the Council should prioritize in the budget. We may be a little biased, but we think transportation safety should be high on that list!

Livable Streets and Neighborhood Byways projects are picking up throughout the city! Continuation of these programs is vital for safer streets.
