Join Us To Remove Puncturevine (Goathead) While Benefiting Sweet Streets!
The Jordan River Commission and Utah DNR are hosting a Puncturevine Bounty Event on Wednesday, August 20th from 7-9 PM at Three Creeks Confluence (exact location may change, but will stay in SLC). Puncturevine—also known as goathead—is a noxious and invasive weed that is notorious for giving bike riders flat tires and injuring the paws of our furry friends on the Jordan River Trail.
Everything will be provided for you except for water and sun protection, so come on down to pull puncturevine with us! In addition to removing this pesky weed, for every pound we remove as a group, we’ll receive $2.50 toward Sweet Streets!
Less puncturevine means more people biking. Help us get closer to a puncturevine-free Jordan River Trail!
