Join the HEAL team for a walk audit focused on our very own neighborhood here in Salt Lake City. We will meet at the HEAL office on 400 W and walk about a mile around the Granary District, identifying the good, bad, and ugly that comes with trying to navigate our streets and sidewalks.
We’ll look at everything from the availability of crosswalks and bike lanes to the condition of sidewalks in an effort to help our decision makers identify areas that need improvement.
The more walkable our streets are, the more effective we can be at lowering our vehicle emissions and improving our air quality. We invite folks of all ages and abilities to join us to make sure our streets and sidewalks work for everybody!
