Organization: Via Rio Grande

Join Via Rio Grande volunteers at the Utah State Capitol to build support for the Rio Grande Plan. This year, we’re asking legislators for initial funding to begin a full engineering and environmental study—the critical first step to move the project forward. We’re not asking the state to fund the entire project, just to invest in studying it so Utah can understand the benefits, costs, and opportunities.

We’ll be in the Capitol Rotunda from 7:30–9:30 AM for a tabling session, inviting elected officials to learn what the plan is, why the study matters, and how it would improve safety, rebuild east-west connections, and strengthen Utah’s transportation network.

After that, we’ll spend the day meeting with legislators so YOU can tell them why this study is so important for Utah’s future. To make this our most ambitious push yet, we need RSVPs and for everyone to save the date.
