Sweet Streets is hosting its 2nd annual Explore the 9 Line Trail! We will have stations set up along the 9 Line Trail on Saturday, May 23 from 10 AM - 2 PM, followed by an after-party and formal raffle space from 2 - 4 PM. These stations will have community and sustainable transportation organizations and have information on their work and the amenities that you can reach nearby via the trail. If you’re planning to stay in town for Memorial Day weekend this will be a great way to enjoy the outdoors and your local community, traffic free!
Bring your friends and family out to the 9 Line! The 9 Line is an all-ages and abilities bike route, meaning it’s comfortable to most riders. No bike? No helmet? No problem! We will be giving away free helmets at the Sweet Streets table, courtesy of Lime, while supplies last. GREENbike has 4 stations on the 9 Line Trail, including one right by Liberty Park and is running a promo for free membership for the month of May by using the promo code “BikeMonth26”. If you have any bike maintenance needs, the Bicycle Collective is conveniently located right on the trail and will have a table right out front.
Visit all of the stations to be entered into a raffle! Simply pick up a raffle card at the first station you visit, then stop by the other stations to get a mark. You may visit the stations at any time and in any order during the event and at your own pace.
Stay tuned for more information on the raffle, including the prizes, the formal raffle location where you’ll drop off your card or donate to purchase additional entries and hang out following the event, and for a station map. We’re also planning a walking tour during the event (taking inspiration from past Sweet Streets Bike/Walk events) starting from the Central Ninth neighborhood.

To be announced!
Please note that there will be no street closures during the event, and although the 9 Line is one of our best streets, you’ll be riding at your own risk. Pay attention, always look both ways at intersections and driveways, watch for pedestrians, and follow traffic signals.
