Central City Walking Tour

  • Salt Lake City Public Library Atrium 210 East 400 South Salt Lake City, UT, 84111 United States (map)

Sego and Cottage Avenue are narrow, human scaled streets home to a small community. It also connects to Richmond Park and a community garden, both of which you wouldn’t notice driving on 600 South.

Join Central City Neighborhood Council, Sweet Streets, and Salt Lake City’s Livable Streets team for a walking tour of the south half of Central City! The tour will start at the Salt Lake City Main Library Atrium and end at Normal Ice Cream. We’ll highlight some proposed street safety improvements from the Livable Streets program and meander through the neighborhood, taking you through beautiful mid-block streets with pocket parks. If you live, work, or commute through the area, the Livable Streets team would like to hear your feedback, and all are welcome to join us on the tour and learn a bit about this walkable, mixed-use neighborhood.
